Chalet Trixi and Rocky Docky
Holidayhome for rent:
House Trixi/Rocky Docky is a chalet with two separate units. Both are furnished in a cosy-rustical style and well suited for families with kids as well as for small groups of skiers and hikers. Pets like dogs and cats are welcome.
Grindelwald is located in the Berner Oberland in Switzerland. 16 km away from Interlaken it is embedded in the spectacular scenery of the Jungfrau region right at the base of the famous Eiger north face.
In summertime it is a dream for hikers: well established trails as well as high alpine climbing routes, forests, cool springs, mountain pastures, glaciers, happy cows and mountain restaurants. Also a great place for paragliders. There is a place for bungee-jumping right in the glacier gorge or you can have a try at mountaineering with an ice axe and rope. You can do river rafting, play tennis or enjoy some golf in the 5 hole course.
In winter it is paradise for skiers and snowboarders. There are around 200 km of downhill runs for beginners as well as for experts. One of the valley runs ends right at the house. If you decide to go on a cross country skiing trip, you can start right from the doorstep. And you are in the privileged situation of living very close to the base stations of the gondola to Männlichen and the Wengernalp train to Kleine Scheidegg.
House Trixi/Rocky Docky is located in Grindelwald/Grund at the outskirts of the village, in a very peaceful and secluded area. Basic shopping facilities are nearby.
There are plenty of shops and restaurants in the center of Grindelwald, also minigolf, a sports center with sauna, swimmingpool and indoor ice rink. You reach the center comfortably by car, train or walking (15 min.).
